This work visa is occupation restricted but open employers, which means you must work in that particular occupation but are free to change employers and do not need a labor market impact assessment (LMIA).
In a nutshell, an LMIA is a document issued by the Government of Canada to validate the employer’s job offer as legitimate at the correct eligibility requirements for both gaining work experience and direct to permanent residence.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Work Experience
As of April 30, 2023, you just need 12 months of qualifying work experience rather than 24 months as previously required. This implies that suitable applicants should apply using the direct2 PR procedure.
2. Language Level
For English requirements, you must have language test results from IELTS or CELPIP, as well as a score of five or above on the Canadian Language Benchmarks or CLB.
3. Education
You must have completed at least one year of post-secondary study, either in Canada or outside of Canada. If you received your education outside of Canada, your foreign education qualifications must be reviewed.
4. Admissibility in Canada
